Plated Sausage Broccoli Alfredo Puff

Dosing:

We used our infused Alfredo sauce for this recipe. ¼ Cup of our sauce has

Ingredients:

1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

1/4 cup Alfredo sauce (adjust potency to personal preference)

1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled

1/2 cup cooked broccoli florets

1 cup shredded 3-year-old jalapeno-infused mozzarella cheese

1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions:

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2:

Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into even squares, about 3 inches by 3 inches each. Place the squares on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 3:

Brown your sausage meat in a pan over medium to high heat. Before draining the meat, add your broccoli to the pan and allow to simmer until slightly tender. Drain fat from the pan.

Step 4:

In a small saucepan, heat the cannabis-infused Alfredo Sauce over low heat. Be careful not to overheat to preserve the THC content.

Step 5:

In a mixing bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, cooked sausage, and broccoli. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Step 6:

Spoon a generous amount of the mixture onto the center of each puff pastry square.

Step 7:

Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded jalapeno-infused mozzarella cheese over the sauce mixture on each square.

Step 8:

Carefully fold the corners of each puff pastry square towards the middle over the filling to form a square envelope.

OPTIONAL: Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of the puff pastry squares with the egg wash. This will give them a beautiful golden brown color when baked

Step 9:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed up.

Step 10:

Once done, remove from the oven and let the puff pastry squares cool slightly before serving.
